Ogden Historical Society kicks off the 2004 season in June
The Ogden Historical Society will hold four information sessions for those community members who would like to learn more about the Society and the Pulver House Museum. Those interested can choose one of four sessions of "Getting to Know You," an informal discussion of the Historical Society and its museum. Participants will learn the history of the organization and will be given information on the opportunities that exist to volunteer their time and talents to this organization that preserves the history of the Ogden community.
Participants may choose one of these sessions to take place at the Pulver House, 568 Colby Street, Town of Ogden:
- Thursday, June 3, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., continental breakfast will be served.
- Thursday, June 3, noon to 1 p.m., light lunch will be served.
- Thursday, June 3, 4 to 5 p.m., beverages and dessert will be served.
- Tuesday, June 8, 7 to 8 p.m., beverages and dessert will be served.
Areas of interest include: membership in Ogden Historical Society, preservation and conservation, special programs and presentations, ongoing display development and maintenance, garden and barn maintenance, house sitting or docent program, arrangement and description of museum holdings, fundraising, public relations and publicity.

The museum is open Sundays, June through October, from 2 to 4 p.m.
