Lakeside honors Twig Association at luncheon

Lakeside Health System hosted a luncheon at Pinewood Country Club on May 20 to celebrate the work and support of the LMH Twig Association throughout the year. The Twig Association supported the "Building for the Next Generation Capital Campaign with a pledge of $76,022, in addition to $51,800 already pledged.

In 2003, the Twig Association has purchased some of the equipment needed for the expansion project including bassinets, a fetal monitor and digital baby scale for the OB Department. In addition, equipment purchased for the OR and hospital floors included an arthroscopy cart, cast saw with vacuum, pulse oximetry module, non-invasive blood pressure module, PACU stretcher and ten crash carts.

In addition to their financial support, the Twig members also operate the Twig Gift Shop; supply the art work throughout the campus; fund health career scholarships; maintain the courtyard; host the Twig Tree of Lights and Tour of Homes along with many other fundraisers.
