Kendall students complete career internships

Eight Kendall students completed their final presentations in the Career Education Internship Program (CEIP) through Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES. The CEIP gives high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to work with mentors in up to four career areas while attending school. The students spend 108 hours in internships and earn college credit through in-class training on topics such as college preparation, career planning and goal setting. For their final projects, students prepare a portfolio, written report and ten-minute presentation on what they learned through their internship positions. Teachers and counselors from area school districts judge the presentations.
