Adopt-A-Highway workers

As part of its ongoing expanding community service projects, the Brockport Kiwanis Club has recently adopted a portion of Rt. 19 in the Town of Sweden. From Colby Street to Beadle Road on Route 19 is now the local responsibility of the Kiwanis Club to maintain as part of the New York State Adopt-A-Highway program. On Saturday, June 5, Kiwanis Club members along with student Key Club members from Brockport High School met for breakfast and then got to work. The group photo above was taken at the Sweden town garage where everybody gathered and got their orange jackets, pick-up-sticks, gloves and bags.
