Black Creek Watershed Coalition to host public meeting
The Black Creek Watershed Coalition will host a public meeting on the Black Creek Watershed Plan on Wednesday, June 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Genesee Community College, Rooms T119A and T119B, 1st floor of the Conable Technology Building; those attending can use the south entrance.
The results of the Black Creek Watershed State of the Basin report will be presented, followed by a discussion about protecting the positive attributes of the watershed and addressing the problem areas.
The public meeting is open to the public and free of charge; refreshments will be provided. Residents, farmers, civic groups, environmental groups, conservation groups, those with sports and recreation interests, municipal officials and staff and other citizens concerned with the water quality and flooding issues in the Black Creek Watershed are encouraged to attend. Each person has something different to contribute and participation from everyone is welcomed.
