Chili trail closed for work

Due to the construction of a section of trail along Scottsville Road in the Town of Chili, there will be construction activity on the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail. From the intersection of Scottsville and Paul Road south to the CSXT rail crossing there will be activity along the southbound lanes. This will also affect access into the Little Black Creek pocket park. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, June 14, and that work is expected to complete prior to the Labor Day Weekend. The notice is provided for the safety of trail users as well as construction workers performing this work, according to Richard Parker, general park manager.
