At the Annual Awards Dinner Meeting of the Genesee Valley Nurses Association on May 18, the Nurse Administrator of the Year award was presented to Carolyn Vacanti, VP Clinical Operations/Chief Nursing Officer at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. Vacanti has been with Lakeside since October of 1999. She resides in Brighton. The nomination for the award was made by community peers and was awarded for "exemplifying qualities of leadership, mentorship, fairness, and active participation with nursing practice" at Lakeside and at the local and state levels. |
