BOCES 2 Career and Technical Education
students win at statewide competition

BOCES 2 CTE students won at Skills USA statewide competition held at Alfred University. First place winners in the statewide competition will compete in the national competition in Kansas City, Missouri. The following students received statewide awards: Olivia Scarpulla (Greece), First Place, Outstanding Chapter; Nathaniel Moore (Gates Chili), First Place, Electronics Technology; Steve Gardner (Hilton), First Place, Precision Heavy Equipment; Ashley Laney (Hilton), Second Place, Auto Service Technology; Nick Leone (Churchville-Chili), Second Place, Precision Machining; Jenna King (Spencerport), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Amanda Lapa (Greece), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Ashley Bircher (Greece), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Jennifer Bauman (Greece), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Shanamarie Lawhorn (Hilton), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Bonnie Blood (Greece), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition; Sarah Insalaco (Spencerport), Third Place, Opening and Closing Competition.
