On June 11, Hilton's Quest Elementary School held a schoolwide Science Fun Day which included a workshop on steam presented by Don Stilson of Hilton. The "Wizard of Steam" was fascinating to Ben Griffiths and Sam Wolcott. Other workshops included "Roller Coaster Physics," "Kitchen Chemistry," "Fish Finders" at Braddock Bay, and a stream watershed ecology presentation by Kim Romeo of the Monroe County Cooperative Extension. |
