Medina Memorial Hospital receives $127,000 grant
Medina Memorial Hospital recently received a $127,318 rural health grant. Assembly Republican Leader Charles H. Nesbitt (R,C,I - Albion) said the grant will ensure access to quality health care for rural Orleans County residents.
"Hospitals like Medina Memorial are a vital link to health care for rural New Yorkers. This funding will enable Medina Memorial Hospital to continue providing top-notch services to Orleans County residents," Nesbitt said. "I applaud Governor Pataki's longstanding commitment to rural health care."
The Medina Memorial Hospital funding is part of $9.2 million in grants awarded to 51 rural hospitals across the state by the Health Care Reform Act's Rural Health Care Access Development Program (RHCADP).
