Road closings announced

A portion of Hamlin Parma Town Line Road, between Huffer and North Hamlin Roads in the Town of Hamlin, will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, for a 14 week period for reconstruction of the bridge over Brush Creek, according to the Monroe County Department of Transportation.

The road will remain open to local traffic up to the bridge. Detour notices will be posted for motorists on Brick Schoolhouse Road - Walker Lake Ontario Road - North Hamlin Road.

A portion of North Greece Road, between Latta Road and Post Avenue in the Town of Greece, will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, for approximately four months for reconstruction of the bridge over Northrup Creek.

The road will remain open to local traffic up to the bridge. Detour notices will be posted for motorists on Latta Road (Route 18) - Flynn Road - Post Avenue.
