Local BMX-er takes home first place prize
Tony Hamlin recently won first place in professional level at East Coast Terminal's BMX "La Revolution" Bike Competition in Binghamton. He took home $750 and a new Fender guitar worth over $800.
This is Hamlin's first win this year since gaining sponsorship with "FBM" BMX Bike and Clothing Company. In the fall of 2003, he took third place professional level in a similar competition in Rochester at X-Dreams Skate Park.
He is a junior at Kendall Jr. Sr. High School who began BMX biking at the age of three. In the past, he has been sponsored by local BMX/Skate park owners and has won many local competitions.
