Heritage Day essays sought

As a way to celebrate Hamlin Heritage Day on August 27, the Heritage Committee is seeking a short story or essay of "What My Heritage Means to Me."

The essay should be typewritten, double spaced and limited to two pages. Essays will be judged in three age groups: youth teen, up to age 20; Adult, ages 21 to 54; and senior, age 55 and older.

The deadline is August 1. Entry forms are available at the Town Clerk's office and on the Town of Hamlin website, www.hamlinny.org.
