Donald White Music Award presented

Paul MacEwen (center) was the recipient of the Donald White Music Award presented at the Brockport High School band banquet held in June. The award is named in honor of the late Donald White, an accomplished trumpet player who inspired others. White was a supporter of the Brockport music program in which his granddaughter participates. The recipient of the award is chosen based on a passion for music through dedication, achievement, leadership and musicianship, as well as exemplifying strong character and by setting a positive example. MacEwen is shown with members of White's family: daughter, Susan Solt; wife, Barbara and sister, Jean Molner.
