Hill School student wins Wheeled Vehicle Safety Awareness Contest
Three fourth grade students from the Brockport Hill Elementary School won the Monroe County Department of Public Safety 2004 Wheeled Vehicle Safety Awareness Contest. Taylor Klafehn received the grand prize of a new bicycle and helmet for the rap song he wrote about helmet safety. He was among 28 students in grades K-6 to receive the grand prize at a special award ceremony on June 3. Steven Lewis and Bryan Warner were among the first place prize winners to receive new bicycle helmets from Galyans at Marketplace Mall.
