Holley students celebrate Flag Day

Holley kindergarteners (l-r) Eva Beadle, Nicole Schicker and Brianna Lewis wave their flags during the Elementary School's annual Flag Day parade. The entire student population paraded around the Village of Holley carrying banners and flags and wearing red, white and blue. Before the parade, the school band performed and students received good character awards. The parade, which is in its 48th year, is an opportunity for students and staff to show pride in the American flag, and for parents, grandparents and school district retirees to visit.
