and wife recognized for volunteerism Bill and Kay Hunt of North Chili were recognized for their 10 years of volunteer service with the Rochester Eye and Tissue Bank (RETB). Both received a Certificate of Caring during RETB's Celebration of Caring recognition program. The Hunts attend health fairs throughout the agency's service region to distribute information about organ and tissue donation. Bill, a cornea transplant recipient, also is a member of the agency's speakers bureau. "Without our volunteers, like Bill and Kay, we couldn't do the amount of outreach that is needed in educating our community about the critical need for organ and tissue donors," Karen Guarino, RETB communications director said. "Their efforts help to assure that others can have a brighter tomorrow." |
