Lakeside's 13th annual Golf Classic raised more than $19,000 with the support of 113 golfers. Krystyna Staub, director of development and community relations, thanked the sponsors, players and volunteers. Steve Hausmann, news and sports director for the Entercom Marketing Results Group in Rochester emceed the event. "This event ran flawlessly," he said. "This tournament is always one of my favorites." The golf winners for the men's group this year were Ken Chastain, Bob Coe, Tim Maloney and Mike Powell; the winners for the women's group were Cathy Abbamonte, Patti Mesolella, Fran Perno and Jean Rivoli; the winners for the mixed group were Drew Currie, Karen Davis, Jeff Harper and Frank Zemer. There were also winners off the course; Donald Bensley won American Airline tickets, Sara Phillips won the next two prizes, a trip to Toronto to see the Blue Jays play and $100 cash. |
