Mehserle, Douglas Macarthur "Coach" "Gen.", On July 28, 2004 at the age of 62. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carmela; children, Michelle (Mark) Crowder, Michael Douglas (Andrea); four grandchildren, Mark Douglas, Sean Michael, Christina Marie, Alexa (Fred) Schanberger; great-grandson, Tyler; sisters, Shirley (Karl) Burlingame, Louise (John) McConachie, Beatrice (Bob) Farrier; brothers, Bernard (Chun), Louis (Carol), Robert and Dwight; many nieces and nephews and beloved pet, Buddie.

Militello, Theresa A. (Piszkin), On July 23, 2004, at the age of 63. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Charles; her sons, Christopher (Stacey Himmelberger), and Michael (Amy). Mima to her grandchildren, Margaret Haag, Christopher J., Elizabeth, Mariana and Ryan Militello; her sisters, Mary Cook, Irene (Ken) Markovich and Clare Piszkin; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, John Piszkin.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 26 at the Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
CHURCHVILLE
Cooney, Donald J., Thursday, July 22, 2004 at age 95. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen. He is survived by his sister, Rosella Hartman of Chili; many nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Monroe County Parks and was a veteran of WWII.
A Memorial Mass was said July 26 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
HAMLIN
Converse, Dale B. "Sidewinder", Sunday, July 25, 2004, at age 69. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Betty Converse; his children, Sjanna (Richard) Redsicker, Terry (Jan) Zabelny, Michael (Traci) Converse, Jeffrey Converse, Christopher (Lois) Converse, Michele (Mike) Toebben and Doug (Christine) Dickinson; a brother, Bob Converse; also many grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dale, who loved fishing, was a retiree of Eastman Kodak with 33 years of service.
Funeral Services were held July 27 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment. Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society in his memory.
Johnson, Mark D., July 26, 2004, age 56. Predeceased by his father, Albert; father-in-law, Douglas Hasenauer. Survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Alison; grandson, Joshua Gould; mother, Rita; brother, Scott (Jude) Johnson; sister, Beth (David) Reid; mother-in-law, Frances Hasenauer; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mark was a Vietnam Veteran with two tours in Vietnam.

Knight, Kristine M., Suddenly, July 25, 2004, age 45. Predeceased by her mother, Barbara Knight. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Brother of the late Robert Beale.

Lane, Donald L., age 63, died suddenly, July 25, 2004. KENDALL
Banker, Donna (West), died on July 21, 2004 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, after a brief illness, at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charlie Banker; their five children, Lavina "Lolly" (George) Zivkovich of Brockport, Trina Harper of Hilton, John (Teresa) Banker of Henrietta, Mark (Janice) Banker and Patricia Banker; three grandchildren, Eric Banker, Katie Banker both of Henrietta, Michael Banker of Hilton.
Private services were held.
MEDINA
Riches, Mark P., 50, died suddenly in Texas on July 14, 2004. He was a graduate of Medina High School, and enjoyed sports, traveling, going to flea markets and visit-ing with family and friends. He is survived by his par-ents, Florence and Paul Riches, both of Medina; brother Scott Riches of Medina; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends, Robert and Holley Guzik of Medina, Darrell Boyle of Washington.
A Memorial Service was held July 30 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion.
OGDEN
Calvete, Elsie M. (Resue), July 23, 2004 at age 85. Predeceased by husband Michael Calvete (Colavito); her parents Jacob and Lucy (Helling) Resue; brother Robert Resue. Survived by children Michael L. (Janice) Calvete, Thomas (Linda) Calvete, Susan (Samuel) Miller; grandchildren Michael J. and Robert Calvete, Jeffrey Wager, Erin and Andrew Calvete, Rebecca and Christopher Miller; great granddaughter Samantha Miller-Barnes; sisters-in-law Marguerite Sunseri and Mary Ann Colavito; cousin Violet DiMascio; nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbors. Elsie was a long time resident of the town of Ogden, a 1941 graduate of the Eastman School of Music and gave music lessons for many years.

Mahoney, Richard T.J. Sr., Ph.D., On July 20, 2004 at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife, Pat; his children, Richard Jr., Mark, Jeffrey (Rita), Stephen (Kristen) and Michael (Maren Haas); grandchildren, Ana (Chuck) Cerankosky, Jenny, Kelley, Allison, Sarah, Jackson and Nicholas; great-granddaughter, Sofia; sisters-in-law, Abigail and Betty; aunt, Margaret Truxes; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers, Dennis and Hugh. Richard was a Professor of Mathematics at SUNY Brockport.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 24 at the Newman Oratory, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
Saltzgaber, Richard H., July 19, 2004 at age 83. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Anne (Alfonsetti) Saltzgaber; his daughters Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Peters and Grace (Joseph) Griffee; his grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Nicholas and Phillip; nephew Rev. Bruce Todd Brown of Memphis, Tennessee. Dick was a Rochester Products retiree and volunteered his time at the American Red Cross and Park Ridge Hospital.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 22 at St. Jude's Church. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery, Buffalo. Memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.
