New Visions
of BOCES II donates candy
sale proceeds
Student members of New Visions donated proceeds, totaling $500, from two candy sales to benefit Lakeside Health System. New Visions is a career group of high school seniors from BOCES II in Spencerport, who are interested in careers in the health field. The students received college credit while working at various internships at Lakeside Hospital.
Laura Ritchie from Holley worked in the Rehabilitation Department of Lakeside Beikirch Care Center and will be attending Keuka College to study Occupational Therapy. Tiffany Harrison from Hamlin worked in Lakeside's Pharmacy and will be pursuing a Pharmacy degree at the University of Buffalo. A third student, Rob Merkel from Greece, worked in the Emergency and Radiology Departments and plans to attend Roberts Wesleyan for Biology/Pre-Med.
