Lakeside Gymkhana rides again

The 5th annual Lakeside Gymkhana is scheduled for Saturday, August 28. The rain date in case of bad weather or ring conditions will be Sunday, September 12. The timed horseback events will start at 11 a.m. at Manitou Hills Farm, 662 Manitou Road in Hilton. Classes will be offered in Junior, Senior and Walk-Jog-Lead line divisions and include Arena Run, Pole Bending, Straight and Clover Leaf Barrels, Key Hole and Texas-T races. Competitors will be eligible to receive door prizes as well as show High Point awards.

A 50/50 raffle and refreshments will be available. The entry fee for competitors for all events is $25. Each rider is required to show a current Coggins and rabies certificate for their horse. The first 20 pre-registered riders will receive a free Lakeside Gymkhana t-shirt. There is no admission fee for spectators. Bring a lawn chair for seating ringside.
