ALBION
Carleton, Anne Patricia, age 100, died August 1, 2004 at Orleans County Nursing Home after a brief illness. She is predeceased by her husband Gerald in 1968. She is survived by nieces Carole Siddall and Lea Trout both of Vancouver, Canada and dear friend Kathy Perez of Holley.
Funeral Services were held August 2. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Orleans County Nursing Home Activities Department, 14012 Route 31 West, Albion, NY 14411.
Nowicki, Mary J., age 91, formerly of Albion, died July 29, 2004 at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband Walter "Jim" in 1976. She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann (Ray) Schell of Brockport; a granddaughter Marlene Schell of Brockport; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Harry David Nowicki in 1993 and a sister, Margaret Czyzewski in 1987. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said July 31 at St. Joseph's Church. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the church.
BERGEN
Lawrence, Marjorie W., August 2, 2004, at age 84. Wife of Glenn W. Lawrence; mother of Carol (Thomas) Sprague, Sandra (Dr. Edward) Pierce, Betty (David) Dunbar, Rev. Dr. Kenneth (Dr. Connie) Lawrence; sister of Harriet Miller, Eleanor Klotzbach, Donald Woodruff; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held August 5 at Bergen First Presbyterian Church, Bergen. Interment, Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu. Memorials can be made to the Presbyterian Church, Box 206, Bergen, NY 14416.
Grillo, Richard C., July 26, 2004, age 61, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his wife, Alice; sister, Ann Viglino; mother-in-law, Barbara Vink; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy (Mary Ann) Vink, Robin (Kim Wallace) Vink, Linda (Scott) Broberg, Kevin (Sarah) Vink and Anthony Arilotta; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service was held July 31 at Christ Community Church, Brockport. Contributions can be made to Mt. Carmel House in his memory.
Thornton, Summer A., July 29, 2004, age 25. Survived by her parents Timothy Thornton, Carol Zarpentine, Chance Hinzman; sisters, Sarah Dioguardi, Amy Thornton, Kimberly Hinzman, Jessica (Tom Ferra, Jr.) Hinzman; brother, Ronald Hinzman; maternal grandparents, Dale and Wilma Zarpentine; paternal grandmother, Gloria Rice; nieces, Mikayla, Alicia; nephew, Alexander; special friends, M.J. DelConte, Jesse Schaller; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services were held July 31 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Camp Haccamo in her memory.
SPENCERPORT
Ferguson, Deborah A. (Stockham), Suddenly July 19, 2004 at age 42 at her home in Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her father Ralph Stockham. She is survived by her son Jason Ferguson; her mother Virginia Stockham; brother Jeffrey Stockham and wife, Victoria; close friend Charles Landis; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services and interment in Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport were at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 or to Adams Basin United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 884, Adams Basin, NY 14410 in her memory.
Martell, Thomas J. Sr., Suddenly, July 28, 2004. He is survived by his three children, Thomas (Shay) Martell Jr. of Florida, Kevin Martell of Niagara Falls and Patricia Martell of Nunda; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Charles and Nicole; sisters, Ellen Toner and Gloria Gautaier, both of Massachusetts; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Carole in 1983.
A Funeral Service was held July 31 at St. Patrick's Church, Mt. Morris. Memorials can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
