Bronze Medal for archery Brockport's Michael Chadsey brought home the Bronze Medal for archery at this year's summer Empire State Games. The Western Division had 48 people who competed in archery this year, 24 adults and 24 children. The competition was with compound and Olympic style Fita bows. Chadsey shot the Fita style. The Empire State Western Division won more gold, silver and bronze medals than any other division this year. Now 23, Chadsey has been competing since he was 14. He says he enjoys both competing and hunting with the bow. |
