Beikirch Care Center receives gift of artwork
Gayle and Gary Breuilly and their daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth, have donated a framed print to the third floor of Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in memory of Margaret Garrison Breuilly. The print, entitled Dance Me to the End of Love, is by Scottish artist Jack Vettriano.
Margaret Breuilly was a resident at the care center until her death in June 2004. The print is located in the hallway in front of her former room. "We wanted to donate something that would represent mom's long and happy life and something that all the residents and staff could enjoy," Gayle Breuilly said.
The picture of a couple dancing is reminiscent of Margaret and Harold Breuilly's life together. They were married 63 years and lived in Albion. Harold recalled, "We danced a million miles."
Gary Breuilly, son of Margaret and Harold said, "I was extremely pleased with the care and dedication of all the staff at Beikirch. The care was first class"
Cora Goyette, donor relations director states, This is a fitting tribute to a wonderful lady. I hope that Margaret's family knows how much this will lift the spirits of all who see it."
