District Governor visits Holley Rotary Club
District 7090 Governor Charlotte Herlong visited the Holley Rotary Club. She is from the Fredonia Rotary Club and is District 7090's first female governor. Before the local club meeting, Herlong met with Club President Gary Ahl and his executive board to review the club's accomplishments for the past year and its goals for the coming year. Herlong complimented the club on its activities during the past year including: sponsorship of local families for Christmas, two $750 scholarships for graduating seniors, assistance with summer camps for local youth, monthly contributions to the local food pantry, sponsorship of two local youth to the week long Rotary Leadership camp, helping with the annual Jim Ferris Run and sponsoring a spaghetti dinner for two local volunteer firemen in need of financial assistance. Additionally, the club has contributed money for Rotary International's efforts to eliminate polio. Pictured are Club president Gary Ahl who is presenting a club pennant to Governor Charlotte Herlong.
