"Anything goes" in Apple Fest photo contest

The Apple of My Eye Photo Contest at this year's Hilton Apple Fest, October 2-3, is extending a "call for entries" for photographs. This year, photographs of any theme or subject matter are welcome.

There are three divisions: adult (19 and older), youth (13-18) and children (12 and under). The prizes are Best of Show: $100. Adult Division: First Place $50, Second Place $35, Third Place $25, five honorable mentions $10 each. Youth Division: First Place $25, Second Place $15, Third Place $10. Children's Division: First Place $15, Second Place $10, Third Place $5. Four sponsor awards will also be presented. Prizes will be awarded on Saturday, October 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Gazebo.

Entries may be dropped off at the Hilton Big M during business hours or mailed to: Photo Contest, P.O. Box 1, Hilton, NY 14468. The postmark deadline for entries is Friday, September 24.
