Photography of Jim Dusen on display

SUNY College at Brockport presents Jim Dusen: Photographs August 31 - September 17 at the Tower Fine Arts Center Rainbow Gallery, Holley Street. An opening reception will be held August 31, 6 to 8 p.m. Jim Dusen has been manager of Photography Services at SUNY Brockport for the past 25 years. A winner of many national and regional awards, he is currently the president of the University Photographers' Association of America. This will be Dusen's first showing of color digital photography. All previous exhibits have featured black and white prints hand crafted in the darkroom. Now the computer is the digital darkroom where he produces all his own work on an Epson Inkjet Photo Printer. The images on display range from professional photography produced for the college to personal work captured while traveling across the country, in particular the southwest. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 585-395-2805. Parking at Tower Fine Arts Center: Weekdays: Until 6:30 p.m. parking permits are required to park in any of the lots in proximity to Tower Fine Arts Center. These free permits can be obtained at the Raye H. Conrad Welcome Center at the corner of New Campus and Commencement Drives. Evenings and Weekends: After 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, and throughout the weekend, parking in not regulated. Metered parking is available east of Tower and across Holley Street.
