Hilton-Parma Recreation holds archery program

Six young archers successfully completed a summer target archery program coordinated by Coach Bert Marlatt and organized by Hilton-Parma Recreation. Participants shoot several arrows at distances of 40, 50 and 60 yards. The program is modeled after the same event held at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens. The goal is to increase eye/hand coordination, promote exercise and encourage fitness as a life-long activity. Call Hilton-Parma Recreation at 392-9030 for details on target archery for the fall.
