Spencerport hosts Ron Broadbent/
Joan Selander Soccer Tournament Spencerport Central Schools host the annual Ron Broadbent/Joan Selander Soccer tournament on September 10 and 11 at the Spencerport Central Schools soccer stadium. The tournament is named for Ron Broadbent, who was the longtime and successful boys' varsity soccer coach at Spencerport and Joan Selander, who was instrumental in the development of the Spencerport Sports Booster Club and the construction of the soccer stadium. Friday's games are at 5 and 7 p.m. and feature Brockport vs. Fairport followed by Arcadia vs. Spencerport. Saturday's consolation game is at 5 p.m. and the championship game is at 7 p.m. |
