89.1 The Point finalist for two national awards

SUNY Brockport's radio station, WBSU 89.1 The Point, is a finalist for two 2004 Student Production Awards given by Collegiate Broadcasters, Inc (CBI). The Point is competing in Best Student Media Website for their homepage www.891thepoint.com. The other nod has been given to Sports Director and Batavia native Chuck Wade, who is nominated for Best Sports Reporting in the radio category. The winners will be announced at CBI's fall convention in Nashville November 4 through 7.
