Churchville-Chili schools receive grants
Chestnut Ridge, Fairbanks Road and Churchville Elementary Schools each have received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program. The schools will use this grant to support the literacy initiative.
The literacy initiative is a comprehensive balanced literacy program designed to help teachers who work in Churchville's kindergarten to grade eight classrooms and building principals to more fully understand the complexities of teaching children to read, write, listen and speak effectively.
These grants were made possible by the ExxonMobil Corporation and are among 4,000 grants available to schools across the United States.
