Boating safety course offered

An eight-hour licensing course for personal water craft operation is scheduled for October 9 and October 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Hamlin Town Hall.

The course is for anyone 10 years old or older and is being presented by the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-8.

This course will satisfy the laws pertaining to the operation of a PWC including jet skis, and is a good course for the first time boater.

Space is limited. All participants must pre-register. The cost is $20. Call Hamlin Recreation at 964-7222 for information.
