School recognized for reaching blood drive goals
The New York-Penn Region of the American Red Cross announced the Life Share top sponsors for reaching their blood drive goals. Life Share is a program designed for high schools to help save lives by sponsors doing their share of donations. The program motivates high schools to increase participation and increase the frequency of blood drives. At the Platinum Level, which is the optimal level for participation, were Holley, Kendall and Lyndonville High Schools. Albion High School and BOCES-Medina both received Silver Level awards for increased participation.
