Sweden Clarkson Recreation Center schedules events

On Saturday, October 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sweden Town Park (field #5) there will be tryouts for Cal Ripken open baseball. Cal Ripken Baseball is a highly competitive travel baseball league. Players must demonstrate the ability to play at this level to be picked for this team. All players must attend Brockport Central School District. The cost is $100 for U-10 and $150 for U-12. First time players must bring a birth certificate as proof of age.

Registration has begun for Little League Basketball at the recreation center. The program is offered to boys and girls in grades three to six. The games will start on Thursday, November 4 at the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Center and the Brockport School District. The cost is $50 for boys and $30 for girls. All participants will receive an NBA replica jersey, player award and end of season tournament. Sign-up and registration days are September 25 and October 14.
