New York State volunteer firefighters launch websites
The Firemen's Home and the FASNY Museum of Firefighting have announced that their new websites are on-line.
The Firemen's Home is the only nursing home in New York state dedicated to providing quality health care to volunteer firefighters of all ages. The new interactive website of The Firemen's Home, www.firemenshome.com, provides information about the facility, its programs and services, eligibility requirements and information about visiting and tours. Former and exempt firefighters, their families and professionals can learn about this facility, located at 125 Harry Howard Avenue in Hudson.
With more than 50,000 square feet of fire engines, firefighting equipment, gear and memorabilia, the FASNY Museum is one of the largest firefighting museums in the world. Visit the website, www.fasnyfiremuseum.com to experience more than 300 years of firefighting history. Whether a family, firefighter or history buff, all are welcome to visit the museum. Admission is free. Open daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
