School district seeks technology committee members
The Spencerport Central School District is seeking community members to serve on a technology advisory committee to develop recommendations for updating technology for students and staff.
"Technology is a key operational expense and we want to ensure that we are spending tax dollars wisely," said Fred Seiler, district assistant superintendent for business.
The committee will include four community representatives in addition to district staff. The committee will review and revise long-range technology plans, investigate emerging technologies and applications for future implementation, assess district technology needs and priorities and will complete an assessment of telecommunications services, hardware, software and other technology services as needed by the district.
Interested candidates should call the district business office at 349-5110.
