Spencerport Community Chorus concerts planned

The Spencerport Community Chorus is preparing for its 2004-2005 concert year. The chorus meets on Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church (The White Church) on Church Street in Spencerport, and is accepting new members through October and again in January.

As a member of the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium, the chorus will be participating in a weekend of choral music, singing at St. Lewis Church in Pittsford on Saturday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. Other groups performing that evening will be Rochester Opera Factory, the Honeoye Falls Community Chorus, the Lyric Chorale and the Cathedral Choir School.

Spencerport Community Chorus's December concerts are Saturday, December 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 5 at 3 p.m. The Amadeus Youth Choir will be guests at both concerts. Concerts are presented at the White Church and are free. Donations are accepted.

The chorus is directed by Margaret Page Colucci and accompanied by Margaret Johnson. For information call 352-6223.
