Nominees sought for
Hilton High School Sports Hall of Fame

The Hilton High School Sports Hall of Fame is seeking nominees for the 2004 induction. Nomination forms may be picked up at the Hilton Athletic Office, 225 West Avenue; the concession stand at LeBeau Football Stadium at Hilton High School during football games; Hilton-Parma Recreation Offices, 59 Henry Street and Carmestro's Restaurant, Canning Street, Hilton. Nominations are due October 29 and should be mailed to the Hilton Athletic Office, 225 West Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468. Induction ceremonies will be held Thursday, December 30, during the boys holiday basketball tournament at the school.

The Athletic Hall of Fame annually inducts former Hilton athletes or coaches who have made outstanding contributions to the athletic program. Qualifications are: graduate of Hilton High School who has been out of school a minimum of five years or coach who has been retired from coaching for five years; individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Hilton sports program or have established themselves in the field of athletics on the local, state, national or international level (professional, Olympic, college athlete, coach, etc.); a student who, while in high school, received athletic honors such has All-American, All-State, All-Greater Rochester, State/Sectional Championship, Athlete of Year, or All-County; any student who participated in Hilton High School athletics may be considered under special circumstances in lieu of the previously stated criteria.
