B-B hosting Halloween pumpkin fest

The Byron-Bergen Pumpkin Fest is scheduled for Friday, October 29 at the Byron-Bergen Elementary School from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Organized by the Byron-Bergen Community School-wide Cluster and Gillam Grant Community Center, as a fundraiser for the community center and the Byron-Bergen PTA, this year's event is sure to be bigger and better than ever. Dinner will also be available at the event.

The free activities include a hayride, scarecrow making (bring your own clothes and the stuffing will be provided), pumpkin carving, a costume parade, live exotic animals, Halloween cartoons, a pumpkin and gourd exhibit by Cornell Cooperative Extension, games, crafts, a Fortune Teller and more. New this year will be a Super Hero straw maze and an inflatable jump house. Call 494-1621 for information.
