This past spring, as part of the Crown Council's Smiles for Life campaign, Dr. Tod Twichell and his dental team offered teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price, and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to help children facing serious health and educational problems. This year half of the money raised, more than $2,000, was donated to the Brockport Central School District Special Education Department. During the four-month campaign, Twichell and other members of the Crown Council throughout the United States and Canada helped raise more than $1.7 million for kids. Contributions will be made to children's charities in communities like Brockport. "We had a great campaign this year and would like to thank everyone in the community who came out and helped to make it a success," Twichell said.
