Cadets win and tie in final weeks

A little over one week after Hilton's field hockey team won the first game in the team's history - 2-1 over Pittsford-Sutherland, the Cadets played Webster-Thomas to a 0-0 tie in the final regular season home game for seven seniors.

Senior goalkeeper Meagan Kruizenga made eight saves and the Cadets had eight shots of their own in the 0-0 tie. Previously, Hilton scored two goals in a game for the first time ever in their first win.

In addition to Kruizenga, seniors Kristy Ellsworth, Kristin Hafner, Nicole Lemcke, Janah Butlin, Janel Kierecki and Sally Ann Schultz all saw their final home action in a Cadets uniform as they finish the season 1-13-3 overall.
