Cross Country team makes strides against Breast Cancer

Rain and chilly weather couldn't stop the Spencerport Rangers Cross Country Team from participating in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk on October 17. Bundled up, the team as well as their mothers, enthusiastically walked in honor of a teammate's mother who is a survivor of breast cancer. Led by one of the team captains, Sandra Goettelman, they raised $1,000 for the American Cancer Society in hopes of one day finding a cure for breast cancer. The team is coached by Lisa Book and Josh Reynolds.
