Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled
Hilton High School Sports Hall of Fame has selected five new members to be inducted this year according to Selection Committee Member Mike Whelehan. Inductees are: Don Radtke, Class of 1952 bowling, soccer, basketball and baseball; Steve Gilmore, Class of 1973 basketball and baseball; Stacey Amphlett, Class of 1993 field hockey, basketball and softball; Deb Loughlin, Class of 1981 volleyball, soccer, basketball and softball; and Kristen Clark, Class of 1999 field hockey, basketball and softball.
The Hilton High School Athletic Hall of Fame annually inducts former Hilton High School athletes or coaches who have made outstanding contributions to the Hilton athletic program. Qualifications are: graduate of Hilton High School who has been out of school a minimum of five years or coach who has been retired from coaching for five years; individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Hilton sports program or have established themselves in the field of athletics on the local, state, national or international level; a student who, while in high school, received athletic honors such as All-American, All-State, All-Greater Rochester, State/Sectional Championship, Athlete of the Year, or All-County; any student who participated in Hilton High School athletics may be considered under special circumstances.

Induction ceremonies will be held Thursday, December 30, in the upstairs Commons area of Hilton High School, at 6 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited.
