More than bellringers

On Saturday, November 19, Junior Girl Scout Troop 378 did more than ring the bell for the Salvation Army - they performed as a band. They met outside IGA on Union Street and gave shoppers and workers a musical treat. On baritone was Emily Pierce, on saxophone was Elizabeth Sadler, Jamie LaVigueur on clarinet, Aleksandra Stefanovski on French horn and Ellie Seaman on flute. Emma Nichols and Becca Youngman accompanied the band by ringing the bells. Troop leaders Kim LaVigueur and Nancy Nichols were also there to enjoy the music. Other girls from the troop that came to ring the bells and play their instruments were Alexa Dumigan and Haley Lisowski (not pictured).
