Photos sought for winter themed contest in Parma

The Parma Public Library is sponsoring a photo contest for Parma residents in grades seven to 12. The theme is "Parma's Winter Wonderland" and photos should feature anything that means winter in Parma.

Contestants may enter up to two photos that were taken in 2005 and must be submitted as 3x5, 4x6 or 5x7 hard copies and be accompanied by a completed entry form. No electronic submissions. Forms will be available at the library between January 3 and February 5. Entries must be received at the Parma Public Library by 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 5.

First, second and third prize winners will be selected from grades seven to nine as well as from grades 10 to 12. All entries will be on display at the Parma Public Library and a reception will be held for all participants. Awards will be presented at the library on Thursday, February 24 at 6 p.m. For information call the Parma Public Library at 392-8350.
