Riga Recreation holiday decorating contest winners chosen

The Town of Riga Recreation and Community Events Department held a holiday decorating contest for their community. There were 15 houses entered in the contest.

First place winner of $75 was Randy and Darlene Fisher of 58 East Buffalo Street. The second place winner of $50 donated by Scott Cullen and Videos Plus, was Bart and Nancy Harvey of 24 Riga Mumford Road. The third place winner of $25, donated by Krony's Pizza, was Scott and Sue Cosgrove of 2 Royce Drive.

The Riga Recreation and Community Events Department thanks the businesses which donated prizes and all the participants for their community support and holiday spirit demonstrated by the decorating. Judges were Eric Bacon, Ogden director of parks and recreation and Tricia Bacon, Chili Senior Center coordinator.
