Spencerport Fire Department elects 2005 officers

The Spencerport Volunteer Fireman's Association held their annual election of officers on Thursday, December 9. The following members have been elected to one year terms, beginning January 1, 2005. Daniel Azzolina, Chief of Department; Joseph Muniz, deputy chief; Terry Brown and Brian Krywy to the position of assistant chief; Joseph Barretta, John Short and Robert Kuzmicki to the rank of captain and Kevin Rauber, Tom Clark and Lisa Coia to the rank of lieutenant.

Michael Read was re-elected as president of the Board of Directors, as well as Salvador Muniz to first vice president; Michael Lobene, second vice president; Stephen P. Cusenz, secretary to the board and Mark Gurgir, association treasurer. Steve Dorgan and Matthew Meyer join the board as directors for a two year term. Russell Young was re-elected to the position of sergeant at arms for another one year term.

Department members also thank Richard Wolfe for his many years of service as a line officer and his past three years as Chief of Department. He will continue to serve as a firefighter. Thanks were also extended to Ken Cunningham and Lynd Hicks for their service to the Board of Directors.
