RWC women's basketball remains undefeated in AMC

The women's basketball team got 34 points from junior guard Judy Wright (Syracuse, NY) as the Lady Raiders remained undefeated in the American Mideast Conference (AMC).

Roberts came out slow in the first half falling behind by 10 points early before clawing their way back into the game. Point Park came out strong shooting 50 percent from the floor including 60 percent from beyond the three-point arc. Roberts was able to increase the tempo of the game, and closed the deficit to three points just before half time.

The second half was all Roberts, outscoring the Lady Pioneers 46-32 to win the game 74-63. Key on the night for Roberts was outscoring Point Park off of turnovers (26-7) and fast break points (14-0).

Judy Wright led all scorers with 34 points and added seven rebounds while senior captain Kim Bratt (Cato, NY) continued her consistent play with 15 points and four rebounds. Wright's 34 points was her third 30 point game in a row as she dropped in 30 against Malone and 38 against Daemen.

The Lady Raiders are currently 10-2 on the season and 4-0 in the American Mideast Conference.
