Driver Education classes offered in Spencerport

There will be a meeting of parents and students who wish to be enrolled in Spencerport Continuing Education's Spring Driver Education class. The meeting will be held Tuesday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room in the Administration Building at 71 Lyell Avenue, Spencerport. The building will open at 4 p.m.

There are 36 openings that will be filled by Spencerport students in the following order: seniors, juniors, then sophomores by their position in line. Out-of-district residents will be offered any remaining openings.

Students will receive instruction in the classroom, behind the wheel, and on the road as required by New York state.

The fee for the class is $325 for Spencerport district students or $335 for out-of-district students.
