Hilton Fire Department elects officers for 2005

The Hilton Fire Department held their annual election of officers on Thursday, December 9. Mark Kalen was elected chief of the department for a two year term. The following members have been elected to one year terms, beginning January 1, 2005: Eric Guest, deputy chief; Jeff Mullen, assistant chief; Don Harter, Joe Lissow and Wayne Collins, captains; and Mike Mullen, Jeff Gates and Steve Carter, lieutenants.

Aaron Horowitz was re-elected as ambulance captain and Kevin Yousey and R.J. Yockel were re-elected as ambulance lieutenants.

Dave Zajonczkoski was re-elected as president of the Board of Directors; Tim Yockel, vice president; Neil Kendrick, treasurer; and Amy Lissow, secretary. Todd Meyer and Ben Floyd were elected as new trustees and will work with current trustee, Kevin Allport.

Members of the Hilton Fire Department are grateful to Mike Lissow for his many years of service as line officer and past three years as chief of the department. He will continue to serve as a firefighter.
